1. Who We Are

Baku is a personal health analytics app developed by Mosaic Analytics LLC, doing business as Baku Science, based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Our app connects to your wearable devices to provide personalized insights on sleep, recovery, and longevity.

2. What Data We Collect

Account Information: Email address, display name (optional).

Wearable & Health Data: Sleep metrics, heart rate and HRV, recovery scores, activity data, SpO2, stress and respiration. Collected from Garmin and Apple HealthKit where you grant permission.

Device & Technical Data: Device type, OS version, app version, crash reports, usage patterns.

What We Do Not Collect: Location data, contacts, payment information, advertising identifiers.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to provide analytics, maintain your account, improve our algorithms, send you updates (with consent), and diagnose technical issues.

4. Apple HealthKit

HealthKit data is used solely to power your in-app analytics. It is never used for advertising, never shared with third parties for marketing, and never sold.

5. Garmin & Third-Party Wearables

Data is retrieved via authorized APIs. Your use of those platforms is also governed by their own privacy policies.

6. How We Store Your Data

Data is stored using Google Firebase with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Account deletion requests are fulfilled within 30 days.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your data for marketing. We may share data only with Google Firebase (infrastructure), when required by law, or in a business transfer under the same privacy commitments.

8. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your data at any time. Email privacy@bakuscience.com and we will respond within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

Baku is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. California Residents (CCPA)

We do not sell personal information. To exercise your CCPA rights contact privacy@bakuscience.com.

11. Security

We implement encrypted data transmission, secure cloud storage, and strict access controls.

We will update the date above and notify you by email for material changes.
